Browser-based screen recording captures exactly what's on your screen at the resolution your display is running, so higher-resolution monitors will produce correspondingly larger recording files — closing unnecessary windows and recording just a single application window rather than your full desktop can help keep file sizes more manageable.

Browsers may ask you to specifically pick the tab, window, or entire screen you want to share, and some browsers additionally let you highlight a checkbox to share tab audio — reviewing these options carefully before you start recording ensures you capture exactly what you intended, including or excluding sound as needed.
